Re-assessment 2012

Cronin Cronin and Harris P.C, our counsel, has provided the following update on the re-assessment of the Landings.

The Town of Southampton reinstated the assessment figures that were in effect prior  to our settlement of the case last year. This has happened in previous years and the town has administratively reduced the assessments to the reduced values in the vast majority of cases.

Counsel is working with the Town of Southampton to have, what they believe is a computer error, rectified. They will send a formal letter but are still gathering data since the town increased assessments on hundreds of properties.

A complaint will be filed on all of the units prior to the May 15 deadline.  As information is received, it will be shared with all unit owners.
