Dumpster for Memorial Day Weekend
Welcome to the beginning of another relaxing season at The Landings.
As you know, the past six months have been a challenging time for all those effected by Super Storm Sandy. After the storm moved on and the opportunity presented itself to assess the damage, dumpsters were brought in for everyone to unload their damaged items. With Memorial Day upon us, a dumpster will again be available by The Landings meeting room beginning Friday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 28. This will be the only on-site opportunity before the season ends to discard ruined items from the storm in addition to broken lawn chairs, barbecues, and all unwanted and/or orphaned items under your lanai. But please, place everything INSIDE the dumpster, not along side of it. Cartons should be crushed or cut up in order to maximize space inside the container. In the past we had as many items OUTSIDE the dumpster as INSIDE.
A lot of restoration work is in progress to return the complex to its pre-storm condition. Your cooperation and joint effort in helping with the cleanup will meet the community’s common goal of revitalizing The Landings.
Kindly remember that the dumpster is provided for the exclusive use of The Landings’ unit owners; contractors involved with rennovations are not permitted to discard construction materials in the WHL dumpster.
